Continuing General Consulting Services for Solid Waste Management Projects
Orange county Solid Waste Division, Orlando, Florida
GSE is a subcontractor for the current Continuing General Consulting Services for Solid Waste Management Projects with the Orange County Utilities Solid Waste Division. Under this contract, the projects GSE is predominately working on include:
- Monitoring Plan Implementation Schedule (MPIS) Technical Report.
- Summarizing and interpreting four years of water quality data and water level measurements for surface water and groundwater samples.
- Methane Surface Emissions Monitoring (SEM) and Report for Title V permit.
- Summarizing and interpreting surface emissions testing.
- Recommending corrective actions for any exceedances of 500 parts per million.
- Implementing corrective actions and performing rechecks.
- Recovered Materials Processing Facility and McCormick Recyclables Transfer Station Inspections.
- Performing annual inspections on Orange County owned/Waste Management run facilities.
- Solid Waste Collection Information for Bid (IFB) Consulting Assistance.
- Providing assistance with the preparation of two IFBs, one for collection services and one for rolling carts.
- Will provide assistance during the bid process and will assist with evaluating the bids received.
- Odor Control Plan.
- Conducted facility wide odor survey to identify odor source on class I and class III landfill cells.
- Developed an odor Control plan.
- Conducted community meetings to present odor control plan.
