Florida Petroleum Cleanup Pre-approval Program Contract Work

GSE is an approved contractor for Florida's petroleum cleanup Pre-approval program. For this reason Toney's Drilling supplies contracted GSE in order to evaluate and remove petroleum waste from their site, that was the result of usage by the former owner of the site.
To this end GSE:
- Reviewed historical data.
- Prepared an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliant Health and Safety Plan (HASP) for future site work.
- Mobilized to the site and advanced twelve soil borings using Direct Push Technology.
- Collected and logged soil samples from each boring.
- Oversaw the installation of four monitoring wells.
- Conducted groundwater sampling at the wells.
- Utilized a fully NELAP and State approved lab for the soil and groundwater analyses.
- Summarized the conducted field activities in a Low-Scored Site Initiative (LSSI) Site Assessment Report. The report included, but was not limited to, maps, tables, conclusions, and recommendations in accordance with the LSSI report guidelines.
